Last wednesday night I had a corporate function at Lagrotta restaurant and I am glad we had it there.
The food is truly homemade starting from their bread to their desserts.
We had a private room and it was comfortably set up.
Service was accommodating and professional.
to be honest we stayed there a few hours and didn't feel like living.
We came within budget .We will sure be back.
I just wanted to thank Frank and his staff for hosting my grandson's engagement party last Thursday night.

Tonight I took my family and friends to this beautiful place.We had never been there before .
The food was great.Their fireplace was on and the service was great-Very attentive and polite.Even after they presented us with the bill ,we were refilled with coffee and water.We felt at home.

We are a meetup group that try to experience different and interesting restaurants once a month. La Grotta was chosen for last Saturday and it was a great choice! The food was excellent, flavourful and well cooked. My one comment would be regarding the starter, the calamari was breaded and fried. Personally, I prefer calamari lightly battered so that you taste the delicate flavour of the calamari as opposed to the heavy, oily crumbs. Overall we all had a lovely evening - warning, La Grotta does not stay open late. At around 10:00pm we were politely told that the restaurant was closing.
