We also do curry dinners, doubles (bundles of curried spiced chickpeas), Pholourie (fried dough with chutney), as well as many other Caribbean favorites. We have a wide selection of imported beverages to accent your meal even further.
service was quick, hot and fresh. The somosas were very tasty and I got the option to choose from many types (I think: potatoe, cheese or spinach). I had the beef somosas before and the pastry shell is very nice. They are crispy rather than being doughy. The roti and somosas had me very full for the evening.
Eh, wasn't too impressed with the service, or food, why do they not close the door and turn on the a/c, sweating in there, are they that cheap, oh and the roti seems to be made from corn meal instead of split peas. Just my opinion. I would not go back again.

My husband's nephew introduced us to this place and from then on this is where we go when my family & I crave for a Trini treat, my husband being a Trini and so picky with the food he eats, seldom eats out but when it comes to D' Hot Shoppe's goodies it is always a YES! Quick srvice too.
I had to check out this place online as we had the food as part of a package on a boat cruise. The food was hot and tasty and very filling! They did some advertising on the cruise and this is how I got to this site about them. They should put up their own website though.Great food at a great price. From one West Indian to another...GREAT JOB!!!
Maybe not the best Trinni food I've had but definately it is up there. Related to Cory's on Speers in Oakville. Great Roti, Excellent Doubles - all round good food. So happy to have a West Indian restaurant in Burlington.
