Great eats near Montreal’s De L’Église metro station

Great eats near Montreal’s De L’Église metro station

I've only sat down at this restaurant once, but I remember it like it was yesterday! The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, with the aromas of good comfort food emanating from the kitchen. While chef Dara and sous-chef Jeremy are busy in the back, “BOSS” and “son” manage the floor and ensure the well-being of customers. And all do a great job! I ate the most delicious pork chop ever (tuna tataki is also a must at this spot) and I drank a little glass of perfectly paired, privately imported wine. Now it’s your turn to spoil yourself.

Those with gluten intolerance will want to order the tuna tartare, snow crab salad, salmon tataki, risotto, duck breast or fish of the day, which is always incredible! Go ahead, give them a try. You can thank me later.

An evening of dining in Montreal as a gift for Christmas

An evening of dining in Montreal as a gift for Christmas

Boss & Fils has been located in Verdun since early 2015 and for me it was love at first sight, a great discovery! The dishes are refined and savoury. To start, I recommend the endive salad - northern shrimp, edamame, salmon eggs, green apples, crab mayonnaise and lemon confit – followed by Korean beef short ribs as the main course. A trip to Verdun is a must!
