Pierre-Marie Legrain's adventures at Dumoulin Bicyclettes, a Montreal bicycle repair and retail shop, began in 2010 working behind the cash. "It was the company's values that led me to apply to work here," explains Pierre-Marie, who is now a co-owner. Those values were based on being active and getting around by bike instead of by car. "We encouraged people to travel by bike. That philosophy made perfect sense to me."  For that reason, as well as for the engaging team and stimulating work atmosphere, Pierre-Marie chose to stay at Dumoulin Bicyclettes.

Soon, Pierre-Marie found himself on the shop floor taking care of sales, before moving into purchasing and then managing the store's products and services. One day, Étienne Roy-Corbeil, one of the co-owners, offered him the chance to buy into the company. Fascinated by, and passionate about entrepreneurship and local companies in particular, Pierre-Marie didn't hesitate for a second and was happy to become the co-owner of a company that seemed to fit him perfectly. "I've always travelled by bike, every day since I can remember, so I feel like I belong here," he says.
