"If it comes down to me choosing between two products of equal quality and similar characteristics, the tiebreaker will always be which product is more eco-friendly," says Natacha Santos, co-owner of The Dog Market."I feel our generation needs to be as eco-conscious as possible so that we can all help to leave a healthy planet for the next generation to take better care of. For example we use biodegradable plastic shopping bags for our everyday items and easily recyclable craft paper bags for all our bakery treats. The more we can all do, even if it’s only a little change, the better. We feel it’s a moral obligation on our part."

Together with business partner Allen Davis, Natacha took over the day-to-day operations of The Dog Market late in2008.Whatever product you are seeking for your dog or cat, it´s likely you’ll find it on the shelves of The Dog Market."Aside from offering the best-quality food and treats the industry has to offer we also have a very busy Grooming salon located in the store," says Natacha."We have a staff of qualified, experienced groomers who take great pride in their work and by doing so have earned us a great reputation in the Beaches." They also stock a wide variety of other pet products including Toronto's largest selection of beds, jackets and clothing.
