Welcome to King West Medical King West Medical Associates is a medical clinic located in the City of Hamilton, Ontario. As a part of the Family Health Team, we are able to provide you with many services that are not normally covered by OHIP.
There used to be good doctors there. I was sent directly to emerge by "treatment" I was given by one young female doctor. I then had another doctor refuse to provide evidence of work related injuries( your fine, get back to work) and treated with outright hostility when I had acquired the medical documentation I required from a walk in clinic. I was told " I pay for it when you go to a walk in clinic" by the doctor. I could go on but these are the worst offences I have experienced.
I have been with this clinic for almost 30 years. As doctors have retired, we have been assigned to new doctors within he clinic. Without fail, each of the new doctors have been respectful, diligent, competent, personable. In 30 years, I cannot recall an instance where I would complain about any of the practitioners at King West Medical. I believe they have superior hiring practices that should be modelled by other clinics because you cant be that consistent without doing something consistently.
