the rolls didn't have much taste and the sashimi...
the rolls didn't have much taste and the sashimi pieces were way too small! the only thing that i could say was decent was the tempura. besides that, i didnt find that there wasn't much selection from the menu..
My husband and I have gone to this restaurant over ten times and it is consistently excellent. We really enjoy japanese food and were quite pleased to find such a great gem in brampton (after so many other disappointments with other local restaurants).
Every time we go, we mostly order the same items and we still love it. On busy nights, service can be on the slower side, but the quality of the food truly makes up for it. The size of the sashimi orders are quite generous and always delicious. They have the best gyoza (pork dumplings that are soft on one side, and crispy on the other) and the tangy dipping sauce that goes along with it is oh so tasty. I’ve enjoyed the katsu-don on a number of occasions as well their udon noodles.
I've also ordered sushi party platters from them and they were a hit with my guests.
Nice place, only the service is too slow (they should hire more waitresses). Very friendly servers though. My husband and I loved their salad dressing, and their smoked salmon is pretty good. Their miso soup is relly good, very tasty, and their banana tempura with vanilla ice cream is ok. However, I find their sushi really hot for there is a lot of wasabi in it, although my husband loved it.
