Buying a restaurant was a no-brainer for Jenny Khamlom and Mano Krinapai, the husband-and-wife team behind Thai by Thai. Having trained in many different establishments, both Jenny and Mano were experts in the food industry before they decided to open their own eatery.
Two of Jenny’s specialties are curries and stir-fries, dishes she’s perfected over the years. “I have my own ingredients,” she says, sharing one secret of what makes her restaurant stand apart. “Every owner is different, right? But the taste – we do it the old way, make it more real.”
Although Jenny will reveal that she does things a little differently than other chefs, her lips are sealed when it comes to her secret recipes and the ingredients she uses to create her acclaimed dishes at Thai by Thai. After all, a little mystery is always a good thing.
