Been eating at this restaurant occasionally for over 30 years and generally pleased with the food and service - but the latter seems to be slipping. At lunch today, three dim sum items were chosen, two arrived within 7 min while the third did not after 20 min wait. The maitre'd was obtuse in his explanation for this and 10 more min passed and still no food! We decided to leave and at the cash desk the waiter appeared indifferent when the order was cancelled and a complaint was registered.

Recently I visited Westview Restaurant, just off exit 17 in North Vancouver. There were lots of menu entrees to choose from, especially in seafood. Prices were very affordable. Westview, I also learned, is the only restaurant in West Vancouver featuring dim sum, and it is included on both lunch and evening menus.
My menu choice was the tasty beef dumpling with green onion and ginger, and the delicious chicken with sesame seed and honey. I finished up with mango pudding and milk, satisfying but not too sweet. I found the service was pretty prompt and professional, and the atmosphere pleasant. There was lots of window space, which is nice, and the seating was comfortable. Westview was a nice dining experience
