This is the best that as far as I’m concerned. Not only are the veterinarians knowledgable but the front desk ladies are as well and are helpful in anyway they can be.

The staff at the Rutland Pet Hospital are fantastic! We have been going there for many years now. They make sure to treat the animals like their own, and are always pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend them.
Don’t ever take your pet to Rutland Animal “Hospital”. We took our old 16 yr old pup there, convulsing in our arms (I think he was having a heart attack) and they sent us away because they closed in 45 min and the vet (not just the receptionist) said they weren’t taking any more “appointments”. So. Shady.
Surprised to see the negative review left by previous poster. I have been a long time client and have never had a negative experience. My pets have been relatively healthy, but when they have required care, the vets have been awesome and always give a personal follow up call to see how things are. The rest of the staff have always been kind and helpful. I don't normally leave reviews, but I felt compelled since the previous one seemed totally opposite from what I have experienced.
Good location and nice office. Vets are o.k. Techs are friendly and helpful. Receptionists with the exception of one are surly and like to talk anout customers after they leave. They dont seem very happy to be there or even like animals.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. A phone call or personal communication would have been better than reading about it on the internet. I am very shocked to have learned about such unprofessional behaviour from our front staff. I have brought it to their attention. I assure you that everyone that works here has big hearts and love their pets and other animals as well. Job satisfaction and morale appears to be quite high at our hospital. We have a large core of staff that have been with us for many years and have very little staff turnover. I believe that we have a great staff and am very proud of the work of all staff members in particular the receptionists. Their position is very difficult and demanding and I feel that they interact with the general public very well. I did find that you have posted a number of less than complimentary reviews on other local businesses making me question the source of the complaints.
