Cactus Club Cafe

Went to the restaurant and put my name down for 5 people, and was informed that the wait time would be around 45 mins. 30 mins passed I went in to check with the server only to find out that my name was crossed off the list because they didn't bother to check the side of the waiting area (which was filled with people talking loudly at the time). The only to get response saying that I'll need to wait another 15 mins saying that I should have waited that long anyways. Another 15 mins went by saw

Had a fabulous dinner, new partner n' I ordered the tuna tartar, caesar salad, and scallops for starts, had the lamb and sea bass for mains, and apple tart for dessert. Divine really, all of it very expensive though. But my boyfriend was treating me for my birthday and I was very happy and incidentally for a new relationship deeply touched. Service was lovely, had a bit of an accident and spilled my half glass of red on the boyfriend, oops, manager noticed the mishap and brought us a tide to go stick. Our server was great and quite on top of things. Place was packed on a Tuesday:) Will be back, fabulous. If not a little pricey recommend for anyone.

The Best Chain In Town

Cactus Club is our "gold standard". We measure all other dining experiences against the atmosphere, fine food and wine and service at Cactus Club. The view from the bar is stunning, but I recommend a booth in the back that allows for enteraction with their famed ladies. Service is friendly and knowledgable, food is exceptional. While not an economy dinner it's still is a great value. Everyone's fave restaurant in Van City area!
