Some spas are set up solely for relaxing massages or facials, but can’t handle serious skin issues. Skin Deep Laser Medispa offers the relaxing environment of a spa, with the medical expertise to address more advanced problems of the skin. “We still provide the esthetically pleasing spa atmosphere, but with the results to back up every treatment,” says Bry-Anne Pearson. She and her sister took over Skin Deep Laser Medispa in 2013.
Bry-Anne had worked at Skin Deep Laser Medispa for five years before the previous owner decided to retire. She encouraged her sister, Brittany, who also had more than a decade of experience in the beauty industry, to join her in running the spa. “We really do come from a place of being employees and seeing the customer service end of things. It’s important that every client that comes through is taken care of,” says Bry-Anne. “We’re not just about profit and growth. We want to grow, but for us it’s important our client feels at home here.”
