Ambrosia Vegetarian Restaurant prides itself for being vegan friendly. We strive to make the best of the best when it comes to vegan dishes. All items on the menu are vegan. The vision behind us is to promote the benefits of a vegetarian lifestyle to all.
Chinese, Taiwanese and Cantonese flavours are the name of the game here. For vegans on a budget, ordering the lunch or dinner specials is a good way to go. You get a full meal for a nice price, and the dishes are bursting with flavour. Try the hot pot or sweet and sour soup for a tasty start to your meal, and follow up with veggie wrappers. You won’t be disappointed.
Located in Avatamsaka Monastery on Fourth Avenue Southwest near the Louise Bridge, Ambrosia Veggie House serves an all-vegan Chinese menu according to Buddhist custom. Though there are some mock meats on the menu, the restaurant tends to favour less-processed ingredients, including tofu and various mushrooms, as a substitute for meat. Like Buddha’s Veggie Restaurant, Ambrosia also offers a selection of dim sum and congee, rice and noodles for weekend brunch.
