The Shubenacadie Canal Commission is a registered charity established to promote and preserve the historic and natural features of the waterway from Halifax Harbour to the Bay of Fundy. Our goal is to encourage individuals, businesses, and organizations from throughout Nova Scotia and around the world to engage with the waterway in new ways so that it can remain just as relevant and important to future generations as it was in previous centuries.
