Montreal owes this interesting idea to Jean-Michel Cauvin and Jean-Daniel Lafleur, two friends passionate about cycling. "Jean-Michel and I met in rather unusual circumstances. In 2008, both of us worked for the same bank. I didn’t know him personally, but I had noticed his bike, and I often tried to guess who in the building could own such a beautiful bike. Same thing on his side; he had noticed mine, which I had built myself, and he was interested in finding out who owned it," Jean-Daniel recalls.
"We eventually met, and discussed a great deal about bikes, eventually developing an idea to build bike parts and frames. A year later, we started this project, and the next year, we had our own boutique on Villeneuve Street."
