Meet Ashlinn Cassidy a Montreal girl who loves her job and her customers. As the heart of Barbarella, Ashlinn is passionate about using the finest and safest ingredients.
Since 2012, Ashlinn Cassidy and Brittany Mooney have been the proud owners of Barbarella, a beauty salon specializing in spray tanning. Originally from Toronto, Ashlinn came to Montreal to study human relations at Concordia University. She started working in the world of beauty and soon found she had a passion for it. After she returned to Toronto, she fell in love with spray tanning and began offering services at home. “It has become very popular in my circle and my customer base expanded quickly,” recalls Ashlinn.
Roughly three years later, Ashlinn met her current business partner, Brittany, who encouraged her to open her own salon. “Wouldn’t you be upset if someone else opened a salon instead of you?” Brittany had asked her. Ashlinn, who had put a lot of thought into the idea, was forced to admit that Brittany wasn’t wrong. The chance was there to be taken, so she took it and opened Barbarella in Montreal.
