The SBC provided me with information on starting a new business, how to write a business plan and government programs available to fund my small business. They even helped me write my business plan! After several months the small business centre phoned to follow-up on the progress I was making in starting out. At that time I was unsure if I had registered my business correctly and they were able to provide me with the necessary guidance to ensure I was on the right track.
