    Honestly guys . Amazing customer service. Lots of knowledge. Management is awesome to. Andrew , Mike, Richard, Roy and the girls. A They are all really friendly and is my favor store . I wish I can owned lol . I won't change a thing. Thank you guys..

    I attempted to call and order for there Boxing Week sales today. I live an hour and a bit away so was going to pay for my tank and accessories today and pick it up on Saturday when there open again. Was placed on hold for 20 minutes then was told that they won’t honour there sale price if I pick it up Saturday even though I’m paying for it today! Absolute sham don’t bother going near this place. Not to mention when you go in here the staff is less than helpful, You’ve lost a long time customer!

    Why bother? Against my better judgment I dropped in to pick up some aquarium supplies. The last experience I had there was less than good. But I was in the neighbourhood and needed the supplies. So I thought why not? I should not have bothered. I wanted to replenish my supply of Aqueon Replacement Filter Cartridges, size large. Out of stock. They only had a twelve pack which cost almost $60.00. Seriously, if you cant supply the most basic supplies in your store what are you doing?

    Staff is very unfriendly and unavailable for help. I am new to this hobby and need some advice in terms of setting my aquarium, before purchasing, but no one was ever available to help. They just brushed me off pointing to direction of aquariums, which are displayed with all bells and whistles, but don’t come as such when you purchase (you get bare glass walls, light and in some cases basic filter). I visited this store several times. No help. I will never go back to this store again!

    The staff are friendly and more than willing to help with anything u need and there nolegable staff in there fish room are great and the quality of there fish is the best around in my opinion

    Their livestock guarantee is not a guarantee at all. Their policy states that they get to keep your money if your fish/animal dies. Only if it dies within 5 days after the sale, do you get a replacement but not without paying for it, albeit at a 50% discount. Think their policy needs to get with the times. Too much competition out there.

    Decent stock, employees could be more helpful. Don't seem to be overly knowledgeable, but it's a chain store and to be expected. In response to the review complaining about them not selling fish to your BRAND NEW TANK as they would die, do research before you go into a hobby. The fish would likely die within a week depending on species. New tanks need AT LEAST 4 weeks of time to "cycle" to obtain a culture of nitrifying and nitrafying bacteria to detoxify ammonia.

    Less dead fish at petsmart

    This is my favourite fish store in my area because the staff are quite knowledgeable in the fish room, they are always busy with the tanks. I wish they had more staff. I also wish they took better care of the feeder fish. It's upsetting to see dead fish, it makes me feel like they don't care about the welfare of all the fish equally even if they are meant to be eaten by others, they still deserve a quality life. I also like their crickets because unlike most pet stores they've a variety of size

    Very poor customer service

    Worse customer service I've ever experienced. no one to help you and you have these clip boards you have to pick out your fish and fill it out . After taking 30mins where no one asked if I needed assistance I waited at counter. Once someone finally saw to me the gentleman proceeded to say he would not sell me the fish I wanted because they would die. He told me I had to wait one month before I could even buy fish for my tank. No suggestion just refusal to sell. Was totally insulted still am.

    The Staff Don't Know Anything

    The staff at big als are not very friendly. When i ask for their help, they will come and assist me although they don't really know much about their products. The usually seem depressed all the time. i love big als products and their variety of fish but they really need to work on hiring better people for the job that actually know about pet supplies.

    Some good product...

    Some good products and fish and plants but the staff isn't friendly at all. I have been here several times for the product only I don't even want to talk to the staff anymore just find what I'm there for and get out.
