I order curries regularly from this location and initially the quality was good, better than others.. but lately the portion, look, taste and overall quality is disgraceful. Thai green curry is watery, the red curry was tasteless and the delivery people get irritated and storm off if one does not tip.
If you ever go here, NEVER let them seat you downstairs, the service and food quality drops tremendously. (they have a separate kitchen downstairs) 1. It was all you can eat yet none of the waiters wrote any of the orders down, nor was there an option for us to write down our options, so orders were slow and sometimes forgotten. 2. The sushi had a metallic taste to it, the rice was off tasting and it made my boyfriend feel nauseous 3. We opted for the slightly higher priced AYCE option, for the dessert, and the korean ribs we ordered tasted like they've been sitting in a freezer for a while. I love sushi but this experiance has turned me off sushi for a while. My past experiences eating upstairs were great, but sitting downstairs was terrible, no windows and bad lighting. Not worth the $17.99 AT ALL, we left hungry.
i've just recently moved to canada from florida, so i really don't know many place, but from where i live two streets away there's a spring rolls i thought it looked decent plus their flyers looked good and i kept getting them in the mail so i decided why not, i ordered throught delivery their asparagus roll, the cucumber roll, and their virgin sunshine roll, i asked the man if i could get the mango taken out of the roll and substituded for a vegetable, he said there was nothing he could do because it all came pre-made, i thought maybe i understood him wrong so i order a drink and he said 45 minutes to maybe an hour, i live two streets away i dont understand why so long, anyways i got a call back saying i had ordered four different rolls but i corrected him about 10 minutes latter some guy knocks on my door the first thing he said is " why'd you change your order." i told him the first man had taken my order wrong he ignored this, when i got my rolls out they looked like five year old had made them i was starving so i said whatever i'll just eat these i sat down and the virgin sunshines had not been substituded instead i had cream chese and some stale "tempura bits" and tasted oddly salty, i threw those away and grabbed the asparagus once they were so over cooked they melted in my mouth whithout me even biting, i thought that was disgusting and the cucumber ones had more rice and cucumber and were salty also. it was all so disgusting i had to throw it all away. i'd never recomend this place to any one. i've been to thousands of places to eat sushi this is definitely the worst of them all. i wasnt able to eat them and it was a waste of time.
This place has some nice food, lots of food served. The chicken, noodles, spring rolls were fantastic. The price of the food however comes at a high price and it's better to eat at a buffet for the price point for dinner.
I've been to the place quite a few times but have never had the opportunity to compose a review for it. The place is quite busy as it is located in the heart of downtown but the added patio for outside works great, especially during spring/summer. The interiors are inviting as well. We were greeted and seated right away. The server was very friendly, although a bit slow after providing us with the menu. If you're in a hurry, this location is not for you...they're usually packed and you gotta have patience. However, if you're just there to enjoy Asian food and don't mind the wait, you'll probably like it. The food was really good. Being a vegetarian, I don't always see too many choices on the menu cards at restaurants but not the case here. There was a good variety to choose from and the food was quite delicious. The only drawback of the restaurant is that they do not accept debit-cash and credit card only! My Recommendation: Go in if you have time on your hands want to enjoy some good Thai food .
The food was great but I could have went to Chinatown which is not to far for authentic "Ho Fun" with seafood at a better price. The Shrimp was large but there were only very few. There was too many onion (red onion) which i disliked. There was only one calamari in the whole dish. The scallop was large and soft which was great. I loved the food overall but could have gotten the same at a fraction of the price. Service was decent but I was not noticed many times and had to wave many times before getting served. The location is great and not a far walk from Eatons and the subway.
Spring Rolls always has nice decor, nice atmosphere, pretty modern as well Typical Asian Fusion food and pho, I liked their Pad Thai, and the rice combo. Nice presentation, food is decent as well. Nice place to enjoy a meal
