    We paid our home coverage in full for a year. Then we discovered CAA. The same policy was over $100 cheaper. We cancelled effective April 30th in March It is now June 7th. We received a letter saying we were due $81.00. It says our refund will be processed upon clearance of our last payment. THEY GOT IT AUGUST 2021 !!!! Where is my money!!!

    This is me being generous giving intact a two star review. So I have a claim that I received three options for, however, I asked the individual looking after my claim to find out how long it’ll take the flooring contractor to change my floor and if they will give accommodation which I didn’t hear back about yet— it’s been about 4 weeks nothing not a single email or call. I’ve also asked why the estimate total is almost $12k while the cash payout is about $5k, the only reply was that it is some c

    Was involved in a not-at-fault accident with injuries. Claim adjudication for the car repair was excellent - claim adjudication for the injuries is awful, unfair, done in bad faith and proves that their word isn't worth the paper it's written on. They cause extreme hardship and not even bother to respond to the lawyer, just waiting on a tribunal date month down the road hoping that you are so much cornered by that time that you will accept their ridiculous settlement intentions.

    I had dealings with Bel Air Direct. Intact is parent company. Horrible to deal with! Rude, aggressive! Waste of time ! PLEASE UNDER CIRCUMSTANCES do yourself a favour. Do get involved with them! PATHETIC SERVICE!!!

    I had a great experience with a claim for water damage. My restoration was done in a timely manner and truly exceeded my expectations.. All my questions and concerns were addressed.

    Worst experience Ive ever had with an insurance company. I was a loyal customer for years, their home and auto rates NEVER stop increasing, and then when you try and cancel they make it almost impossible and keep trying to take your money. I will NEVER deal with Intact again. Period. Save your self the trouble and get better rates elsewhere, for me that was the Cooperators.

    I have just received my car insurance renewal starting September 14, 2018. To my dismay there is a 20% increase in my premiums. I have had no tickets or accidents. So where is the justification for the increase in premiums. My broker told me that Intact is known for doing this. Well, guess what? THEY ARE NOT GETTING ANOTHER CENT FROM ME!!!

    i had an accident that was not my fault. intact.guaranteed me that i was covered and it would be fixed i didnt want to file a claim if it wasnt fixable i had to take it to their choice to get it fixed they submitted 4000 to intact the next day i was informed that it was now 6500 to fix it they wrote it off i have parts vehicle the same as this one. for $400 i could of had it fixed intact only offered me 2200 on a vehicle whos replacement cost is 3900 this is a joke and so is intact dont use them

    This insurance is...

    This insurance is the worst to deal with as they send you a revision every month basically with increase say that a few thing were missed out and was add on . they insure you and then 2 month later come up with revisions and increase your monthly payment . The gadgets they give you is total a waste of time as they do not work . then they just come back to say that you did not install then and remove the discount that they gave you . They basically have you tied in for a year

    Yes, they start your claim immediately. But, be prepared for a long wait for repairs to be made 10 MONTHS so far. Also forget about replacement value-I found the exact same carpeting from the exact same carpet company, I even had the original receipt & I have been fighting with them about it since September. Just heard from their rep today & he says it costs too much. Go to another company if you want fast reliable service.

    Not Recommended

    Very poor communinication. Call centre quick to answer, but lacks knowledge to provide clairification to your questions and concerns. Be prepared to fight a long battle for a fair claim.
