I have been here a few times, and the food is always good. It's often quite busy so you may have to wait for a table and it will be a bit noisy. The servers are friendly and never seem annoyed, even when they're running around like mad on a Sunday morning. I had the 3 Mushroom omlette with homefries and a mango smoothie. The eggs were good, but the smoothie lacked in mango flavour. I will get the regular smoothie next time, which is much better. We were seated after a 15-minute wait (you have to wait outside as the restaurant is so small) and all was good. However...A couple seating near us needed a highchair for their baby, and I had to duck out the of the way while the server wrestled it into the cramped space. Not a problem, per se, but a bit annoying. She then brought a different highchair and full-on bashed me in the knee with it on her way to the table. No apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. It hit me hard enough to knock the food off my fork, but she didn't seem to notice at all. Oh well. Hopefully next time will be better!

Banana Latte Smoothies are a full-out addiction. Order in "to go" cup to save room for food. Huevos, Breakfast Burrito, waffles, and veggie fritata are favourites. I go with my boyfriend who is a vegetarian and there is more than enough veggie friendly choices. Toast Soldiers is another must eat. Service can be a bit lacking on saturdays, but very understandably as they are dealing with large crowds. Everyone is great with topping up waters and coffee (killer coffee, btw!). Cash and debit only.... but they have a portable debit unit that comes right to your table, also a plus.

Best Restaurants for March Break in Toronto

Best Restaurants for March Break in Toronto

Sometimes the less options the better. Kids don't want to futz around, they just want to eat. So Easy makes it uh, easy for them with just four items on the menu - a grilled cheese sandwich (Grilled Ham & Swiss Brioche $7.95), eggs (Scrambled Eggs & Bacon $6.95), waffles (Kid's Mini Waffle Deuce $5.95) and drink (Kid's Smoothies $2.95). Just think of how much more time you'll get at the park or museum if you're not labouring over menu choices.

Breakfast should be the most hassle-free meal of the day and here it truly is. There’s no fuss or complication, just a plate of hearty food that’ll sate any appetite.
