Food was average- way over priced !!!! Convenient location- very clean restaurant. Staff was pleasant and efficient.
Our family were very impressed when we went there in Oct 2010. There was lots of variety compared to what I am used to in Burlington. There was a certain french flare to what was being served which is awesome. Next time I plan on going again.
Servers are horrendous- just sit at the table and chat- decor is terrible- not all desserts are homemade- prices are a joke for store bought squares- any place but where they are now would surely go out of business
Nice enough place- a place where my grandmother would appreciate the decor- although the decor is outdated the place itself is very clean and tidy-very impressed. Food was very good but I found 12.00 dollars for eggs and coffee a little pricey- but no complaints. Service was mediocre- however I am not sure if it is a full service establishment-or more of a counter type service,or both-location is a bit hidden- but once you can find it- it is quite convenient.
Guylaine's Cafe will never disappoint. Everything is homemade, the place is impecably clean and the service is is perfect! I will definitely be visiting again and again and strongly erge everyone to try out this little hidden gem, at the back of the medical building on Long lake road.
I thought the food was marvelous. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a quiet and quaint place to eat. Family oriented. Service is friendly and great. Pleanty of parking. I went there with my sisters and friends and had a wonderful time without being rushed out of the place. I would not have went anywhere else. Hats off to the cook.
This restaurant has the best brunch and breakfast in town. Not only do they have amazing french food, but their customer service is delightful. Go visit, you'll love it.
First time visit- cosy spot, good service, good food, but then again, how could you screw up bacon and eggs? Only negative comment is breakfast was served on a very cold plate which cooled down the food. Would be nice if plates were warmed- maybe I'm picky, but I prefer my meals served really hot. Will go back again.
Guylaine is a friend of mine for sure but the service food and cost is what I am rating. The good is awesome there. Almost everything is homemade and delicious. The server is great and knows the selection and if you have food sensitivies she is skilled in offering an alternative. The ambiance is lovely, very clean and the setting is comfy and home like. I do recommend this great little place to eat and enjoy the stay.
They obviously listen to comments, and now the food is nice and hot. Not a large selection, but they keep changing items and keep it interesting. Very tasty food, great coffee, 18% cream, wonderful desserts, and great value. The creme de la sucre and bread pudding are soooo good. Guylaine is usually there and always cares.
I always enjoy their toasted western homemade soups and buttertarts. The coffee is NOT an economy blend, rather, it is full-bodied, hot and fresh.
We have had brunch here twice. The electric warming trays simply do not keep the food hot enough, but notwithstanding that, we would return. This place is clean, the coffee is good, and they serve it with 18% cream...bonus points for that. The selection is not big, but the quality makes up for it. Try the sucre a la creme (a sweet topping they make) with the french toast, or pancakes, or yummy bread pudding...it is to die for. If you like chocolate, there is a chocolate fountain to compliment the fresh fruit. They have real homefries, very nice quiche and terrific coleslaw.
