Love, love, love Amakara! I go for lunch by myself, or dinner with my husband and/or my mom! The waitresses know our special orders and comply with my special requests, and are always polite and give great service. It is always fresh and delicious and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing. I also just bought their salad dressing, to take home for myself! So good!
Amakara is a great place to go for a well-priced meal. A lot cheaper then any other of the asian restaurants in the area, usually by about $20 or so. When you are on a budget, it helps to eat out at Amakara!

The food is good but not exceptional.
The service is acceptabe, but nothing out of the ordinary. For sushi within a reasonable drive it will do for a quick "Shushi fix"
Been there a number of time and will go again.

I absolutely love going to Amakara, as not only is the food excelent, but the atmosphere and service are also wonderful. I have dined there quite a few times, and I've never been unhappy with my meal. I would recommend the experience to anyone, whether they are familiar with Japanese cuisine or not.
