Troy Transportation

was given a quote for small 1 bedroom apt. Toronto to Nova Scotia, arrived 1 and a half days past delivery window. told weight was 3 times higher than quoted, eventually they admitted that load was not weighed, said they would allow it to be scaled ,but 1st we would have to pay $2,000, (almost twice the estimate, and if the load weighed less than they said, they would gladly reimburse us. don't have the additional costs therefore we've lost our stuff.

Horrible Company

Charged DOUBLE what they quoted.. damaged my stuff. Terrible customer service. Quick to quote added costs if I couldn't get to the bank due to a storm however, changed they're own time only after I called asking where they were.. due to the storm. Go figure.

Charged me double...

Charged me double what they quoted. Delivered my items late. Delivered items damaged. Some items were missing. Staff is not answering my calls or e-mails. Damages cost me hundreds of dollars to replace and even though I filed a claim they are not responding. Stay away. The Better Business Bureau gives them a D.

Wonderful Move

Recently I hired Troy Moving to bring the contents of my storage locker from Vancouver to Montreal. It was so much easier than I expected, we got the storage people to work out the details with Troy so we didn't have to be there for the pickup, pre-arranged payment to have the contents to our new storage locker. PAINLESS PROCESS!! Everyone was so accommodating to our needs and we really appreciate all the hard work that was put in by the great office staff. My daughter went to check out the stuff at the locker in Montreal and everything appears to be in good shape, really pleased with how this all worked out!

Moving

As a person who spent lots of time googling all the reviews for all the moving companies that I received quotes from, I narrowed my search down to 3 companies. I spent a fair amount of time on the phone asking all my questions, and found the Troy office to be the most honest and able to explain things to me in plain English. This is the main reason I chose Troy Moving, and have no regrets about my decision. I lived in an apartment with no elevator in Montreal and Troy was the ONLY company who warned me about the possibility of the (very reasonable) extra charge for the time and the labor for the guys to have to haul everything down 3 flights, I mentioned this to all the companies and no one but Atlantic bothered to explain. Thank you to all of the staff at Troy Moving :)
