Le service est excellent mais mes pâtes étaient trop salées et ça coûte cher.
We wanted to sit outside on a lovely Ottawa evening - Mamma Grazzi was not our first choice, but the wait time was reasonable. The rolls were Wonder Bread like with rosemary and way too much salt - we had to throw them out at the trash can next to our table :-(. At least the restaurant was able to offer unsalted bread which was Wonder full. The Caprese salad was like none we had tried before. The Mozzerella (four small balls) was placed on top of a bread and tomato platform. The bread was Wonder full and the tomato flavorless. The pasta was undercooked. The service was just okay. We were somewhat disgusted when a waitress dropped a bottle and cut herself trying to pick up the glass shards. If you want to have a good meal on a patio, I suggest you try somewhere else.
Warm, cozy and delightful. I've visited twice and will return. The service is average but the the quality and flavour of the dishes meet expectations.
Went on a date, perfect atmosphere for a romantic evening. Quiet, nestled away from the noise and roads in the Byward Market. It was my second time going there, both times paid about $30/person with appetizers, dessert and tips. All the food is made to order and cooked and seasoned perfectly. Despite being made to order, fast friendly service and affordable prices make this restaurant worth the trip.
I have been going to Mamma Grazzi's for YEARS, and I always get the same dish - Milano. It's fantastic!
There are much better Italian eateries in Ottawa (think Preston St.) for the price- over-rated, Don't order steak here- it was grey and looked boiled!

Offering a casual Italian dining experience, Mamma Grazzi’s Kitchen is a great spot for dinner with friends or a casual date. Enjoy one of the signature pizza or pasta dishes in the bright interior or al fresco on the patio (located in a beautiful cobblestone courtyard in the ByWard Market). Treat yourself to one of many inventive dishes like jumbo pasta shells stuffed with crab, ricotta and sun-dried tomatoes in a Sambuca cream sauce with fennel and shiitake mushrooms.
