Very Very rude, would not recommend this store to anyone, I made the mistake of spending $500 dollar on lighting for my new home and found I did not need the small spot light cost $25.The Guy In the store went crazy at us when asked if we could retune the small item.
After my experience in returning the LED light bulbs I will never step foot in this place again! Horrible exchange policy even though the receipt said exchange within 7 days of purchase. The owner's son said to me they will need a copy of my CC for security if I decide to return the new bulbs I was purchasing. He said my LED return was a big hit to the business. Really!? $200 is a big hit to their business? They just lost one great customer!
I went to this store to purchase a replacement cover for a lamp. As I walked it I was asked if I could be helped. When I held up the spare lamp cover, I was asked if I had purchased the lamp there. When I said no, I was bluntly told that they couldn't help me. If I had purchased the item there, they could help me. I felt that as a lighting store, they should be able to help me (provide direction, catalogue order something, or event try to up-sell me)-rude.
Buyer beware - Eldon Lighting would not exchange the flo0r lamp I purchased. I purchased an LED floor lamp from Eldon that looked good in the store environment. When it was in place in my living room, the light was very harsh and cold and not suitable for my living room. I called Eldon immediately and they refused to exchange the floor lamp as they considered it a 'custom' order. I was not made aware of their no exchange policy. Very poor customer service!
I purchased many items at Eldon Lighting over the years and had wonderful service, respectful response from staff, and prompt service, but today, after visiting their store a few days ago, I called to ask about an item and comment about their website glitch. The woman on the other end was indignant, rude, and did not even ask me what I was interested in when she spoke to me. The manager should know that because of this, they lost me as a customer who was about to spend about $700 in sales!
