Great store, love the atmosphere! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable! Don't mind spending the extra 2 bucks on some items (although their prices are actually better than big box stores!)

Gino and his staff are always excellent - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, couldn't ask for better. Anytime I've had qualms with a price, with something that may be cheaper elsewhere, it has been resolved to our satisfaction. All three of our kids have taken lessons there.
In addition, Gino always comes through on any community involvement we ask him.
people at granata are very nice but it takes more than nice sales people to get repeat customers. 2 significant negatives against granata. first, their products are overpriced. i discovered this only after making my purchases. st. john's music store (up the street on merivale) and even costco has better prices on musical instruments. the other significant negative is that there are no refunds at granata. st. john's at least has a 7 day refund policy and costco will take anything back.

Regarding our prices, we can't keep track of what every other business charges, but we happily offer to match the price for the same product from any other authorized retailer in Canada. We even go so far as to issue partial refunds to people who have already purchased a product from us only to find a better price elsewhere afterwards, for up to 7 days past the original purchase.
