embarrassing service absolutely pathetic. twice they took wayyy longer than they said, the second time they say theyll have 3lbs ready in 15 mins, I show up 25 minutes later and its still not ready, are you serious? I tried telling there incompetent cashier that he shouldnt be saying to come in 15 minutes when it obviously isnt ready until more like 30mins. To top this garbage service off they forgot my cold pops which they specifically said they would retrieve for me. Never again! IF YOURE
Their wings stay crispy even when saucy. Their food is good value for the money. They have a good selection of menu items (anything chicken). I would recommend Ring A Wing to anyone looking for a litlle variety, or to try something new.
We were craving wings last night and although we always go to Pieros because they have the best wings in the city for the best price, we thought we'd try this place because of all their ads and rep as being a good spot -- bad mistake. To begin with the wings are greatly over-priced. We had them delivered which to our shock was an hour and a half wait. The wings themselves were dry, small, and half were cold -- never again. Pieros is the best spot ever for wings -- huge, juicy, and 50 for $25!
It really amaze me as to what kind of taste ppl have nowadays!? I don't know how ppl can say that the wings are the best? Hello?? Well,i ordered a pizza and some wings enough for 2 ppl. As soon as i opened the box,i'm not impressed at all. The wings are really dark....guess they haven't change the oil for centuries. Took a couple of bites and let me tell you there is no taste to the chicken! Well, guess they don't pre-marinate the wings beforehand. I guess the only thing that is decent is the sauce!? If that 's the case,i can buy the sauce myself? Why should i bother to buy it from them. Afterall, the price is not cheap!! I gave up the wings and decide to try the pizza ,and i wasn't happy with that either. It tastes like a cardboard. Looks like they try to make something they are not good at . I mean,i have nothing against these ppl,but if the food doesn't look good, doesn't taste good and the price isn't cheap.....well.....what else you need to know? Seriously,i had better wings down the road at a chinese rest......lol
I love RING A WING! Its great. There wings are a great size and I love the different sauce choices. If you like spicy things the jamazian hot is a great sauce packed with flavour! one time they messed up my order and when I called about it they were so apologetic and on my next order I had a free pound! Excellent customer service!
I get delivery on occasion, and when I do, Ring a Wing is certainly a consideration. I get the medium or teriyaki wings, and a side of onion rings, and the wings are large and tasty. The sauces are delicious and 1 lb is quite a lot for one person. There are about 20 flavours of sauce to choose from so the variety is there. I've never been to the physical building, but delivery is usually fairly quick (30-40 mins) and food is piping hot. Its a little more money to order wings here than from other places, but they are among the best I've had, so it is worth the extra few dollars.
First time customer, wings were so amazing I had to write a review. The customer service was good, wings reasonably priced. The wings were huge and completely loaded with a sauce - 1 pound was definitely enough for 1 person. And the sauce was the best I've ever had in my life (sweet and sour, and Jamaican heat). Will definitely go back!
I have ordered from ring a wing a few times and am not normally dissapointed, but was outraged at this experience. It took 1 hour and 40 min for our wings to arrive. Before their arrival we phoned twice and were told that our wings left 'a while ago' and we should expect them any moment. When they finally arrived the debt machine did not work so we had to borrow money. After opening our wings we had alot of trouble telling the difference between the sauces and it did not held that everything was so soggy. To top is off, the wings that we waited so long for were lukewarm at best! It was an absolutly ridiculous experience.
I have heard lots of hype about Ring-A-Wing and was excited about the new location opening on Wonderland. I ordered late at night and recieved fairly quick service. Once I opened the package I relized why the service was so speedy. The wings were very soggy and I couldn't even tell the difference between the sauces. Overall this experience did not live up to my expectations and I really wonder how this business is surviving by selling less than desirable product.
I love the wings! They are probably the best in London! it's too bad they got rid of the montreal smoked though because that was the best. If you like spice go for the Louisiana BBQ their signature sause. Sometimes when I get a pound they give me like 14 wings and other times you only get like 9-10 so it's kinda hit or miss like that but the wings are always nice and crispy and covered in sause, yum. Oh yeah and it's kinda expensive as well for a pound it's almost $10 but worth it I think.
This place is hit and miss. We have ordered many times and found that if you place an order on friday/saturday/sunday the wings are fantastic and the delivery is honestly like 20 mins or less. If you call during the week, you normally get cold, greasy food. We started ordering only on the weekend, and have yet to be dissapointed!
Onion rings and fries were good, wings were a little wet, not very crispy, and a little too sweet tasting to be called medium...
Have ordered from them many time and never been disappointed
One of the better wings in London ive had...little pricey overall, and i have to agree, sometimes they can be hit or miss...but normally they are pretty good.
I ordered my meal for delivery, and i had made it clear i was going to pay with debit. Once the food got here ( over 90 minutes later,) the delivery person told me he had forgotten the debit machine and dropped the food and left, the food was positively glacial, my drink was missing and the wrap was disgusting. Then at 1am i recieved a phone call asking if they could send someone over with the debit machine so i could pay, i told them i was in bed and they could come the next morning but i was going out of town the next afternoon for 2 weeks, i got a call the next afternoon saying the man was at my door with the machine, when i told him i was no longer in town the guy on the other end starting yelling, needless to say i won't be going back
Loved the food, THEY ARE THE BEST WINGS IN TOWN ALL THE WAY!! NOTHING COMPARES!
The wings were somenof the best in London and I would drive across town to have them.
I was in school at the University of Western Ontario for 4 years, and these wings became a staple in my diet. These are the best wings, i have come across, so much that im in the UK right now feinding for some. Trust me....you cant do much better for thier prices
wings are great only, sometimes are bad. the delivery is about 1 hour, and the food is pretty pricey.
Ring-a-Wing is my favoriate take-out location I've ever found. They have truely mastered the chicken wing. Biggest complaint is with consistency; every once in a while I get a dud batch. Always ask for extra sauce!
