This was important to me because I like to be able to work with a contractor who is responsive after work is done. Mike performed the assessment for my unique attic insulation needs and was honest to point me towards a solution which involved insulation products that Mr. Roofman didn't carry but came from another supplier. He brought his laptop and accessed online information to direct me to the latest industry standards and whitepapers. I have followed his recommendations to the letter and I am thoroughly pleased with the solution he recommended. Accordingly, I recommend Mr. Roofman's (Mike's) honesty and valuable assessment which, there is no doubt in my mind, was provided with the customer's best interests at heart.

As did Laurie below we had exactly the same track record with our flat root - the last time they came out they really messed up by putting cement on the flat membrane in a corner to prevent it from leaking through the Window! We also had them shingle our house and you can see from the street the mess that was made of that! the shingles began buckling immediately and again they came out numerous times to repair the jobThey blamed the shingles and we sent them away - the shingle company said the roofing company didn't not apply them properly and the story continues - I have pictures and papers to prove all of this, but I finally gave up and had an excellent roofer redo the roof job - I can't afford the shingles yet!

we hired the roofman because they have been in business for many years and seamed to have a great repulation... unfortunately lately they have not been standing up to their reputation - just research their reviews! they re-shingled our roof in 2005 and we have had 8 leaks since - 5 gallon bucket full, kind of leaks. The first time they came out they inspected their own work and admitted they had a bad crew that season. They fixed it and over the next few years the same issues re-occured and we kept having them out - they came out and did the repairs as required by the terms of our warranty....I was concerned about mold and water damage - maybe even wood rott, they would only fix our roof and they suggested we go through our insurance to repair the damages the leaks caused by their poor workmanship when shingling our roof. I also worry that after the 10 year mark they repairs will still continue and the workmanship warranty will run out - then I will have to pay for the repairs! it's supposed to be a 40 year roof! Take it from me - do not hire this company!
