I went here suffering from severe depression and even though the GP agreed that I was in a crisis situation he said "you are in the wrong place, I can't help you" gave me a hotline number, told me to go to the wellness centre at my school and then promptly dismissed me from the room. I felt very rushed and unhelped with no more progress than what I came with. He also would not fill out a form for my school indicating my mental state.
The doctors at this referred my grandmother to st.Joseph hospital even when her own doctor said she was not sick. This act truly saved her life. The doctor at this clinic properly diagnosed her and made sure that she see the appropriate professionals before treatment. This clinic also called to follow up to see how the hospital appointment went, which you will not get at other clinics. My family and I would highly recommend this clinic due to their great service and well trained doctors. Even though some people say the wait is long (you will wait the same time or longer at any other clinic or doctors office). Personally, this is the only clinic I would recommend.
The wait times are truly ridiculous for how many people are in the waiting room. When you arrive from down the street at 2:00 for a prescription refill, you do not expect to be getting home at 5:00. Please avoid, especially if you have children who tend to become uncomfortable during long waits. Upon hearing the receptionist tell customers the wait would be an hour I knew I had to write this. Its not fair to be told an hour when you will be there almost 3.
