Terrible experience with my husbands 2017 Malibu. Nothing but problems since we have had this car. We purchased it brand new and the check engine light has come on about 9 times. We always get the run around when bringing it in for repairs. The staff is very rude over the phone and not much better in person. We wish we would have never stepped foot in this place and could return this car and go somewhere else. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT purchase a car from this place.
My husband and I are from Georgia , our 2015 Impala engine light came on and of course we panicked being here in Canada. We went to the dealer on Upper James and was truly impressed at the fast service and the incredibly knowledgeable wonderful woman at the desk. She gave us directions to places to eat nearby while the car was being serviced asking if we needed a shuttle, also offered us coffee or tea . My husband asked questions which she quickly responded with kindness and actual concern. ty

Catherine at service is awesome - she's always very helpful, keeps me updated regarding my vehicle in service and looks to see if anything requiring repairs is covered in any way. She recommended James when I was considering buying another vehicle. James Bosher was very nice and helpful. He even called the day after I picked up my new vehicle to check to see if everything was ok.
Pleasant and informative staff . Made me feel like I was someone of importance. Kept me posted on how my vehicle was coming along.
I recently went to John Bear to get my hybrid serviced. The technician was inexperienced and attempted to sell me on $1800 for repairs. I went to another mechanic to verify the first's claims. The second mechanic showed the real issue and warned me against getting the recommended work done, which was not needed. The vehicle has been perfect since without any repairs. I would 100% not recommend going here for service. Worst experience I've ever had with a dealership.
Exceptional Service Mike went above and beyond to accomodate me. My appointment was at 8:00 am. Mike anticipated my car would not be ready for me to make my 10:30 am appointment and offered to rent me a car which saved my entire day. I work Monday to Friday, taking advantage of the time off, I scheduled a full day of appointments and errands. Thanks to Mike, I got everything done. I really appreciate his professionalism and kindness shown to me on that day. He is a definite asset to your team.
Lynne Stowe was AMAZING!!! She was kind, patient and never pushy. This was a very big deal for me. To buy a new SUV and see cost that goes with it was terrifying. Lynne went through the pros and cons and made me feel as though I was making the right choice. I am thankful for all of her help :)
I had a great experience buying a car at John Bear. Everyone I dealt with was extremely friendly and made the environment fun. In walking in I was acknowledged and felt confident that the sales team knew the cars they were selling. When I picked up my car they made sure I knew the features of my car and how to use them before I drove off of the lot. They made the purchase of my first car special and exciting (balloons and all!!!).
