Eagle County Paramedic Services (ECPS), formally Eagle County Health Service District and Western Eagle County Ambulance District is a full-service Emergency Medical Services (EMS) agency that provides 9-1-1 emergency response, inter-facility patient transportation including Paramedic level Critical Care, Community Paramedic, community events, medical support of special events and specialized response teams. ECPS responds to over 4000 requests for service annually and covers approximately 1692 square miles including most of Eagle County and the eastern portion of Garfield County, Colorado. Coverage includes the towns and cities of Vail, Eagle-Vail, Minturn, Red Cliff, Avon, Edwards, Wolcott, Bond, McCoy, Eagle, Gypsum, and Dotsero. The District also covers the world renown ski resorts of Vail and Beaver Creek. This includes 63 miles of I-70 and the busy Eagle County Regional Airport with direct flights from Dallas, Denver, Houston, Miami, Minneapolis, New York City, LAX and others.
