To make a long story short, we ordered some wings and drinks, received them in a good amount of time. They were alright, but the flavours were messed up when they were brought to our table. When we received the bill, we were overcharged, the manager came to "deal with us", and refused to rectify the situation, insisting that we did order all of that food on the bill. After a yelling match (Literally!), she removed the mistaken order and we paid for what was rightfully ours. Before leaving, we told the manger we would never be returning and she should treat customers better, she yelled at us all the way out to our car. We left her standing in the parking lot. WE WOULD NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!
Went on wing night, had to wait for half an hour, as expected with how busy the store was. Were going to leave but the friendly, attentive greeter kept us around. The wings were mammoth and full of flavour. Incredible. We met the owner while waiting for our food and she was VERY friendly to us, so not sure about the above experience.
I went to the beaver and bulldog in collingwood its the best restaurant and great service. I will return and and again..people friendly nice atomosphere and beautifully decorated patio love it ..
i was with the party below and I just wanted to say that what happened was not acceptable and none of us will be visiting again. I was NOT pleased with the way she handled that nor the way that she spoke to us. We had young children there and it was NOT an appropriate way to teach a child how to deal with a situation either.
There were 8 girls in my party and we go around collingwood trying new restaurants out and having a lovely girls day. We decided to try The Beaver and Bulldog to see how it was. We received our food fairly quickly and our server was absolutly amazing. There was a hair in the chicken wings and we told our server. The owner came out to tell us it was a feather on the wing and it happens that she had to pluck it out with her fingers. We said no it was a hair(which it absolutly was) and that we did not want it since her fingers were in it. She then said I ONLY TOUCHED ONE! AND DARN THOSE CHICKENS FOR HAVING FEATHERS!... she then walked inside and threw a towel to show how she handles a situation that is not in her favour. We were absolutly in shock that an owner of a restaurant would react in such an imature way. All we wanted was an apology and maybe a new batch of wings or a discount. Not many people enjoy eating hairs from others and food that people have stuck their fingers in. All of the girls in my party work at restaurants. I am a cook and the others are servers and managers. We have never seen someone act in such an immature way who is of management.
