Just to prove you can not always believe what you read. My boyfriend and I have always wanted to try The Crazy Fox so we made reservations. After making those reservations we read the reviews on this site. We were apprehensive but still decided to try it out. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. The wait staff were VERY friendly and our waitress was warm, funny and very prompt with our orders. I found the whole experience wonderful. Our reservations were for 8pm and we had dined, had our dessert, and paid the bill in about an hour. We both agreed that we will definitely be returning. If I tried really hard, the one compliant I would find would be the rice!!

First let me say that the food at this...
First let me say that the food at this restaurant is very good. But I need to say that it was THE worst service I have ever received - in my entire life - without question. The waitress was snobby, rude and abrasive. She turned what was supposed to be a memorable evening into a virtual nightmare. We waited - literally - 75 minutes to be served our meal. My 6 year old daughter was practically crying with hunger. The whole dining experience took 3 hours. When I asked for the bill right after dessert I was told, "It WILL be a minute". When the bill finally came - 10 minutes later - it was tossed in front of me and she said, "your welcome" and walked away. The service was so bad that you keep reliving it in your mind - like an abuse memory. It was almost like we were an inconvenience to her. I have never, in my life been treated so badly in a restaurant and I can assure you that this place doesn't like or want kids. When I gave them my card they stormed off and were gone for along time. My daughter was so tired and I had to track them down. They were gossiping about customers, near the machine. I would NOT recommend this restaurant. Barrie has so many great places to eat but THIS one is not one of them.... GO elsewhere!!!
