Dr Mark Porte

Dr. Porte replaced my left knee on October 21, 2021, at the Barrie Hospital. This was the most rewarding operation I have ever had. The first two months were very tough, but after that, absolutely no pain. I have no regrets about getting this wonderful surgeon to perform this surgery. He is truly the very best Dr. in Canada. If needed, I would go back to him absolutey for any kind of surgery.

I have actually never done a review, but this time I will. I won’t go into details about my issues, but I will say that this Dr made me feel like my 4 year shoulder issue was nothing. I felt VERY prejudged. There was no follow up (I was told to expect a phone call the following week.) I have since seen a Dr in Toronto who immediately booked me for surgery within 2 weeks. DR Porte was 1.5 years for just an assessment appt.

Had my shoulder replaced. Everything about my experience was wonderful. Staff at RVH was excellent. Dr Porte was happy to answer any questions I had about prosthesis. I was advised of my options and when I asked he was willing to tell me what he would chose if it was his shoulder. He was always pleasant. Surgery was excellent. Recovery was quick.
