Located on the grounds of the old Horton High school at 9701 Commercial Street, the Edible Art Cafe straddles the border between the villages of Greenwich and New Minas, Nova Scotia. Look for the old brick gates of the High school, with the cafe set back from the road, and almost directly across Commercial Street from Deep Hollow Road. Our food selection includes fresh baked goods, and breakfast, as well as soups, salad, and sandwiches made fresh daily. An extensive Grab & Go line of frozen soups and entrees is also available for takeout at the incredible price of 5 meals for 20 dollars. The coffee is organic and fair trade from North Mountain Coffee, a local roaster located in Berwick. Live music is featured six days a week from noon to 2pm, culminating with the Saturday Brunch from 10am-3pm featuring a delicious Eggs Benedict. Many of the tables are Live Edge hardwood works of art, created by Ariell's husband Jesse. Lots of local art is also for sale at the cafe.more...See more text
