    Great service and merchandise!

    I am always pleasantly surprised with the merchandise carried at Chestnut Cottage. The owner has a mix of styles and all of them are of good quality. I always leave with one of two very nice pieces. The lady the runs the store is also always very nice and welcoming.

    BUYERS BEWARE OF CHESTNUT COTTAGE IN SUSSEX, NB.

    My daughter purchased a "stained glass" windchime from Chestnut Cottage. It was removed from where it was being displayed and immediately gift wrapped. My daughter was told BY THE OWNER HERSELF that it was "stained glass." These were her words..."I have enjoyed watching how the sun catches the stained glass." You can imagine this Mom's disappointment when I opened my gift to find it wasn't stained glass at all but glass that had been painted. Also, the glass was loose and because of that some of the paint had chipped off. Now I know my daughter should have taken a good look before she paid but it was not offered to her and the item was immediatly gift wrapped. (cont...)
