VERY poor customer service. multiple unanswered emails and even more unreturned calls. Poor quality doors as well. Patio doors freeze around the frame due to the new steel construction inside. They have frozen up since they made the change from steel to fibreglass 3 years ago. They sell these patio doors knowing they freeze. Man doors seem to twist in hot temps. Top corner above handle sticks out past jamb up to 6mm. Get better with cool temps. 5 months I’ve waited for a proper service call.

I have had four front windows installed about 6 years ago and they all have had leaky seals and needed the window panes to be replaced.

A salesperson came by smelling strongly of scented laundry detergent despite how I explicitly requested non scent due to my health concerns. He bragged more about himself and his sales than the producers. When I later called to set up an appointment for installation his voicemail was full. I left a message with the company’s reception but nobody got back to me. Shoddy.

I needed to change my front door as part of my home renovation project but I wasn't really sure which company to hire until a friend suggested NorthShield because he had already hired them for a window repair. They offered me a free consultation and gave me a pretty fair estimate so I gave them a go. I couldn't be happier with my new door, it looks pretty amazing and it matches what I had in mind.
