R.M.T. stands for Registered Massage Therapist. RMT is a reserved title in British Columbia and can be used only by therapists who have taken the minimum 3000 hour Diploma in Massage Therapy and who have passed the academic & practical examinations set forth by the College of Massage Therapists of BC. Massage Therapy is regulated under the Health Professions Act of British Columbia.
