“Sometimes, the answers to our physical and mental health problems lay outside the spectrum of Western medicine,” says Stephanie Lafazanos, founder of Intune Holistics. “That’s where we come in.”
Stephanie attended university in Canada for kinesiology and psychology. “I find the connections between our bodies and our minds so fascinating,” she explains. “I knew I wanted to make a career out of exploring that connection.”
After graduating, Stephanie travelled across the world, experiencing many practices in the Eastern part of the world. From Thai massage to Chi Gong – a form of martial arts healing – Stephanie’s understanding of the connection between the human mind and body grew.
Upon facing her own health challenges, Stephanie did not have a great deal of success with Western medicine, and instead turned to Eastern medicine and holistics.
