Later, see message saying recipient not home.
Phone, talk to human, give them new address where I will be the following day. They confirm it will be shipped to the new address the following day.
Following day, first thing in the morning, auto-call from DHL saying I need to pick it up from a facility in a different city within the metro area.
Terrible is definitely the most apt description for service.
Shame on you DHL. Unreliable and irresponsible company. Day 1 got a text message said the delivery will be the same day, waited till 1 pm got another text message said the recipient not home. I called back DHL immediately told them I was at home at the time in receipt the message. They verify the address with me looks like a small error on the address. They are useless in Vancouver and you cannot talk to them direct, only to Toronto and they are able to find out nothing about parcel and everybody blames customs which I now know is false .....it is DHL .
The parcel travelled around the world in presently a third the time it took to get cleared in Vancouver...let’s see how it ends up.

After 40+ years of dealing with delivery services, this was my worst experience. My parcel was put on hold due to a DHL mistake and I could not get them to correct it. It took over a month to get my parcel delivered. There is no direct call line to Richmond and when you call customer services in Toronto they send emails to Richmond which are ignored. Very, very frustrating!
