Greg is awesome!! we bring all our families cars there. he is honest fair and never pressures... Will help us budget saying no need to do this now but u will probably need in 12 months. he is our truly trusted family mechanic!!!!

I called to speak to the owner, Greg, and he asked if it was a sales call, and I said no. He then said really loud, If you are not calling to book an appointment, then this is a sales call. He then hung up on me. Terrible customer service!

Not the best service around

Pre-purchase inspection - Lots missed!

Brought a car in for a pre-purchase inspection as I do not live in Nanaimo and was relying on them to give me a good 3rd party opinion. Terrible experience - did not detect a very clear oil leak. On the inspection sheet it says "NO LEAKS UNDER ENGINE" but in my driveway there is a pool of oil. Did not detect passenger door lock was tampered with along with the window making an abrupt click when rolled all the way down, plus MANY more. All things easily seen from a visual inspection.

Good Service But Overpriced

My experience in the past was that the mechanics know what they are doing but the cost of repairs were much higher than other places.

Great Service

The staff at Long Lake Automotive are real easy to deal with and took all the stress out of visiting the shop. Not only were the repair costs reasonable but they even dropped me off and picked me up when they were done.
