This is the cutest brunch spot in Sherwood Park. The room is airy, the tables are mismatched and the décor is artsy and chic. The menu features local gems, such as Transcend coffee, Irving’s Farm Fresh ham and nine-grain toast from Mill Creek Café. The brunch menu changes, but always has delightful treats, such as lemon waffles with lemon cream glaze, eggs Benedict with ham or lox, quiche, and huevos rancheros. If you can’t choose, go with the breakfast bowl, which has chorizo sausage, scrambled eggs, sautéed onions and peppers, cheese, potatoes and hollandaise sauce.
Located in Sherwood Park, this gorgeous, airy café has tons of open space. Their casual, laid-back vibe is perfect for brunch with the family, or a coffee with your girlfriends and your little ones. They often have live music shows at night, and many of their shows are all-ages. It is a licensed establishment, but people don’t go here to overindulge, so the atmosphere remains child-friendly, especially during the day. The coffee is to die for, and they also serve smoothies, Boylan cane sugar pop and fresh-squeezed orange juice.
Located in Sherwood Park, this cute café is a little off the beaten path, but is always worth the trip. Their food is awesome, especially the brunch menu. They use a lot of local suppliers and carry a mix of packaged and fresh treats, some of which are vegan, all of which are delicious. The staff is really good about meeting dietary needs or personal preferences, so just ask them which of the desserts on display that day are vegan.
